Le séminaire de l'équipe A3SI du LIGM initialement prévu le jeudi 19 mars à 13h  à ESIEE Paris (amphi 260) aura lieu jeudi 30 avril à 14h en visioconférence. Hermine Chatoux nous présentera ses travaux sur "Soft-metrology for multivalued images".

Soft-metrology for multivalued images

Abstract: Soft-metrology aim to give measure form image processing. The objective is to know the reproducibility and the efficiency of the measure whatever the sensor used, to the uncertainty. This problematic is developed in a multi channel context (colour and spectral) and multimodal. Several operators are presented to illustrate the metrological intent. The first tool measures gradient in multivalued images. From this gradient, key-point detectors and descriptors are developed. The extension of mathematical morphology to multivalued image is also presented. The talk will conclude on the current challenges to assess with the soft-metrology.

Bio: Hermine Chatoux is a member of the ICONES team at the laboratory XLIM (UMR CNRS 7252). She obtained an engineering degree in printing (INP Pagora - Grenoble, 2007), a master degree in mathematics (Paul Sabatier - Toulouse, 2013) and a PhD in colour image processing (Poitiers, 2019). She develops metrological tools for colour and spectral image analysis and processing. Her approaches consider the physical aspect of the sensor in a non-empirical mathematical construction. Resulting from this work, linear (gradient based) and non linear (mathematical morphology based) processing allows a direct non uniform aspect measurement of colour and spectral images.
