LIGM (Laboratoire d'Informatique Gaspard-Monge, Gaspard-Monge Computer Science Laboratory, UMR 8049) is a computer science laboratory of Université Paris-Est (UPE), localised on the campus of Cité Descartes in Champs-sur-Marne, 20 km east of Paris.

It depends on several institutions: CNRS, Université Paris-Est Marne-la-Vallée (UPEM), ESIEE Paris and l'École des Ponts ParisTech (ENPC). It is one of the research units of Université Paris-Est associated with école doctorale MSTIC.

It gathers around 70 permanent researchers, and as many temporary researchers, in theoretical and applied computed science, within 5 research teams:

LIGM is part of a LabEx ("excellency laboratory") on the frontier between computer science and mathematics: "Bézout - Models and algorithms, from the discrete to the continuous".

It is also part of two "Major Research Domain" (DIM) networks of Region Île-de-France : Réseau Francilien en Sciences Informatiques (RFSI) and Math'innov de la Région Île-de-France.
